Currently there are 3 pillars that determine the income you will receive when you retire:
In principle we will receive a public pension but, as life expectancy is increasing, it is advisable to supplement savings through pension funds to improve our economic situation after retirement.
Anyone can make contributions to an individual pension plan, with a maximum tax deduction of €1,500 per year.
Self-employed workers can make contributions to their self-employed employment plan, with a maximum tax relief of €5,750 per year.

Who is this pension plan for?
To any person who meets the following requirements:
Be freelancer
Be over 16 years of age
Residing in Spain
It is not necessary to belong to a professional association to join an existing pension plan.

With our exclusive App, you can follow the progress of your savings and their performance in real time. In addition, you can carry out your transactions with total comfort and security, from anywhere and at any time.
How does it benefit you?
Tax benefits
You can deduct up to €5,750/year. The money you contribute to your plan is deducted from your taxable income. That reduces your personal income tax and you pay less in your income tax return.
The money is always yours
If the manager or the entity promoting the plan went bankrupt, your money would be managed by another entity and would continue to be yours.
Flexible contributions
You decide how much money you contribute to the plan and how often. By doing so, you save a greater amount of money.
Lower commissions
In this pension plan exclusively for the self-employed, the applicable commissions are slightly lower than those of our investment fund.
An improvement for your future
Since we do not know how much we will receive when we reach retirement and social security, having a parallel pension plan gives you the peace of mind of having a supplement for your pension.
More profitability
By investing in a variable income plan, you will benefit from the long-term returns that investing in stocks produces.

Why hire it with us?
Horos AM is an independent manager based on the philosophy of value investing, which consists of investing in companies with a high margin of safety and a value higher than the price at which they are listed on the stock market.
This investment philosophy has given very good results to our clients and has given us recognition such as the Citywire Award for the best equity management team in Spain 2016 and different awards granted by Morningstar and Expansión-Allfunds.

Our 5 principles
We understand the business
We invest in companies that we can understand and envision for the long term.
We reduce the risk
We avoid companies with high debts.
We analyze the management team
We carefully study the work of your management team.
We select differentiating companies
We always choose those that have advantages over their competitors.
We maintain a margin of safety
We buy shares when we think that their value is clearly higher than their stock market price.
In addition to all these reasons, there are three more reasons why you can contract this new pension plan for the self-employed with us:

Management of Caser Pensiones, one of the 15 largest pension plan managers in Spain.

Promotion of the College of Economists of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Supervision of the General Directorate of Insurance and Pension Funds, guarantee of transparency and good practices.

Transfer your investment fund to HOROS and improve the profitability of your savings
Do you have capital invested in funds with such low returns that they barely beat inflation? The Horos management team, specialized in variable income, has multiplied its participants' money by 4 since 2012, with a 12% annualized return, net of commissions, in said period.
You've probably heard that investing in stocks is risky because they fluctuate more than other assets. If your time horizon when investing is 5 or more years, this volatility should be seen as an opportunity to buy assets with high revaluation potential at a better price. And, despite all the events that have happened, and will continue to happen, throughout history, equities are, by far, the most profitable asset of the last 200 years.
Transfer your investment fund to Horos and invest with the management team that leads profitability in this type of asset in the last 5 years among managers domiciled in Spain*.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a maximum and minimum amount of money to contribute?
Yes, you can contribute from a minimum of €50 to a maximum of €5,750 annually.
If I invest one year, do I have to invest every year?
You can invest any amount you want up to a maximum of €5,750. Also, it is not necessary to invest every year.
Can you transfer that money to other pension plans?
You can transfer it to another employment pension plan (whether self-employed or company). Today, the law does not allow transfers to individual pension plans.
What happens if you stop being self-employed?
If you unsubscribe from the RETA (self-employed worker regime), you will become a “suspended participant”. This means that you will maintain your rights in the plan (the shares will still be yours), but you will not be able to make more contributions. In that case, you have 3 options:
1. Maintain the plan and redeem that money later (or in case you register as self-employed again in the future).
2. Transfer your shares to your new employer’s pension plan (if there is one).
3. Withdraw the money (totally or partially) if you are in one of the legal situations to be able to do so.
Can you refund the money contributed?
The rescue of the plan is subject to the same contingencies as individual pension plans, that is, after 10 years or after retirement, disability, serious illness, death, long-term unemployment, etc. or special cases.
How much does it cost to contract this pension plan with us?
The management cost commission that we apply at Horos AM is 1.5% of the total amount you invest in your plan.
