After passing through DWS Investments and Credit Suisse, he joined Metagestión at the beginning of 2007 as an analyst and co-manager. In 2012 he became CIO until May 2018, when he joined Horos Asset Management. Javier holds a degree in Economics from the University of Salamanca and a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE). In addition, he holds the title of Chartered Financial Analyst since June 2011 and is a professor of the “Master in Value Investing and Cycle Theory” at the Center for Advanced Studies OMMA and the “Title of Expert in Stock Exchange” of the University of Alicante. A voracious reader and a great basketball fan, Javier, along with his team, has managed to place the funds he has managed at the top of the 5-year profitability ranking.

Bachelor in Business Administration and Management. He has experience at EY audit department and in 2013 he joined Metagestión’s management team. Since his incorporation, the team has generated an annualized return of 16.5% in the iberian fund and 14.3% in the international fund, until May 2018, once he joins Horos Asset Management. He has received 2 Morningstar and Expansión awards for the best Spanish Equity Fund (2015 and 2016), and the Citywire prize for the best management team and best equity manager in Spain (2016 and 2017). Possibly the most restless mind in the office, his passion for investment and markets make him a hard and tireless worker.

He began his career at BBVA as a risk analyst, and later worked as a financial analyst in ONEtoONE Corporate Finance and Global Corporate Finance. In his last stage he developed his activity in the Investment Department of the Agbar Group (Suez Group). In 2014 he joined Metagestión until May 2018, when he joins Horos Asset Management. Miguel holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Salamanca and a Master’s Degree in Stock Exchange and Financial Markets from the IEB. Miguel is the perfect person to chat or debate any topic.

José María holds a law degree from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), an MBA from the Stern School of Business (New York University) and a Master in Portfolio Management from the IEB. He has held various positions of responsibility in several international financial institutions, beginning his professional career in New York as a stockbroker in Kidder, Peabody & Co. He subsequently worked in Bankers Trust, ABN AMRO Asset Management, was Head of Sales in Spain and Portugal of JPMorgan Asset Management and Managing Director in Spain for Allianz Global Investors. In his last stage he was Partner of W4i Investment Advisors Limited and CEO of Metagestión. His experience and professionalism doesn’t make him boring, but rather the funniest joker when time permits.

Beatriz holds a degree in Business Studies and a degree in Economics from the University of Salamanca. After completing a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Taxation, she began her career as an account auditor. In 2007 she joined Metagestión where she became the head of administration.

Rodrigo holds a degree in Economics from the University of Alcalá de Henares (UAH). In 2012, while studying, he began working in the administration department of a construction company, but his restless mind led him in 2014 to found his start-up ” White & Lemon “, a retail products company. In 2017 he launched a new brand, “Rod bags”, dedicated to accessories. This is the most entrepreneurial mind in the office.

Mayra has a degree in Business Administration and Management from Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid. She began her career at Banco Inversis where she was a Depositary Technician and later worked at Gesconsult in the Adminstration of Investment Funds and SICAVs.
